Building Information Modelling (BIM) is widely used within the construction industry, and since its formation Peak Architects have integrated this collaborative approach to design and construction on all its projects. We utilise the advantages of BIM to enhance our centralised approach of collaboration, and extend this to the wider design team as well as our clients through the advanced techniques available through the use of BIM.
The use of Autodesk Revit as our main authoring package, and Autodesk Navisworks as key analysis software, allows us to co-ordinate project information from the earliest stages of a project, and we continue this through to coordination at a construction and site level.
The sharing and coordination between ourselves, our clients, and the other consultants in the team is key to the success of a project, and enables us to make informed design choices, and reduce risk. As our clients are central to our design processes, we believe BIM and its benefits should not just be limited to the architectural and engineering design delivery, but also enable our clients to gain benefit from this service at every level.
We have established BIM expertise and protocols including standards based on the latest AEC (UK) BIM Standards for Autodesk Revit along with extensive portfolio of completed projects from concept design stage to full construction documentation, and offer an additional service as BIM Coordinator, taking BIM Management roles where required.
