Peak Architects completed the final snagging on the Dining Room extension for the Dukes Barn Outdoor Activity Centre yesterday and apart from a few snagging items and a final clean the project was looking glorious in the Sunshine.
Peak Architects were appointed in 2014 to provide new kitchen and extending dining room facilities for the centre; this followed two unsuccessful planning appeals for schemes submitted by the previous architects. Working closely with the Peak Park planning team and the centres in-house management team we managed to propose a scheme on the Garden II listed building that was acceptable to the conservation officer and subsequently achieved a successful planning outcome.
