Peak Architects has been appointed by the Wentworth Estate to develop a scheme around the conversion, reconfiguration and extension of the historic Barrow Farmstead. Set in a conservation area on the outskirts of Wentworth village, the scheme will provide a variety of commercial serviced office accommodation in this stunning rural setting.
With the existing stone farm buildings arranged around a large central courtyard, the proposal is to create a glazed link block within this, which will act as the development’s key social breakout space. The existing buildings will also be renovated, with their individual characteristics celebrated alongside careful design of new internal elements to create a series of unique office spaces.
