From the outset, the brief from the client was to create a link block to connect the existing Grade II listed vicarage, in Barlow, with additional existing site accommodation.
Peak Architects' response was to propose a lightweight contemporary pavilion creating a garden room link that maximised the building footprint as well as re-inventing an underused area of the garden.
Working closely with the contractor and specialist sub-contractors, we were able to deliver a lightweight engineered solution which linked seamlessly to the existing accommodation, as well as providing access to the garden, and maximising views across the open countryside.
