Whirlow Lane is a collection of four five-bedroom contemporary detached houses.
The design of the principle brick massing takes its cue from the traditional neighbouring houses, but detailed in a contemporary manner.
To the rear, each house has a single storey block, housing an open plan kitchen and dining living area that opens onto their respective gardens via two sets of generously sized sliding doors. Clad in dark stained timber fins, this acts as a bold counterpoint to the brick.
Each house is then served by a large stairwell, with several large rooflights above bringing light down to each floor.
