This competition winning entry was for the refurbishment of the Clubhouse to provide sustainable and energy efficient accommodation. The success of our entry was based upon providing a series of flexible spaces underpinned by a simple servicing strategy.
This allowed a variety of new uses to be incorporated; including a business/conferencing centre with function rooms and golf academy, whilst still allowing the Golf Club to operate independently.
Working closely with a contractor and consultant team, we were able to demonstrate a detailed phasing and logistics sequencing and strategy, which mitigated any risk and reduced the impact upon the club's day to day operations.
