Peak Architects welcomes Alasdair Struthers!
Alasdair joined Peak Architects in the autumn of 2022 and brings a focus on high-quality housing and urban design. His approach is grounded in innovative architecture and its role in unlocking challenging sites. He’s passionate about the role of street-based, high-density housing in providing sustainable homes and building a sociable society. He has a range of experience having worked with domestic, commercial and public sector clients and is an experienced managing complex projects during each project stage. Whilst working in London, Alasdair helped delivered several award-winning residential schemes, including RIBA London and National awards.
His final year thesis project at Westminster University was shortlisted for the RIBA Silver Medal and Shoaib Mahmad Rawat design award. Alasdair remains involved with education and is a visiting critic and associate lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.
At the weekends you’ll find Alasdair walking in the Peaks with his family or struggling with DIY in his new home.
